Little Corn Islands

So exhausted but still wound up. Last time I was in a plane of a similar size, we soared above the Nazca Lines in Peru banking ninety degrees for a better view. Now, in this 12-seater "crop-duster", the co-pilot so young I would guess he doesn't have his driver license yet, I shoo away unnerving thoughts about flying. We are not above the clouds

So, which is nicer - Roatan Islands or Corn Islands?

never been to Roatan, only Utila. But between Utila and Little Corn Island I'd pick Utila anytime. Little Corn is nicer if you want a 3 day vacation with nothing but sun, sand, and sea, but Utila's nightlife trumps that :)
As for diving, on Little corn I've seen only one kind of fish that I haven't seen on Utila - African pompano (that's that silver one with the ponytale) . There are a few more sting rays and eagle rays on Little Corn, and the hammerheads, of course, but the North side of Utila is by far more abundant then any of the sites around Little Corn. However! if you do end up going to Little Corn Island, and plan on diving, you must dive Blowing Rock - that dive site is amazing.

hey, I meant to ask you for a while... which camera do you use (on land and underwater)?

All the recent photos are from my little Cannon SD870 with or without the underwater case.

any recommendations for the underwater case? I have Canon 40D. DICAPacs are fairly cheap but I don't know if they are any good. Most of other ones are a thousand plus.

Cannon cameras usually has one case for one camera (the bastards...) so I'd just get the one custom to yours. Good luck with the photos! :)
