Duskwing returned to rest in the Seeker statue known as Stupidity in Blue. True and final rest he did not yet seek, just a contented respite from the hurry and work and excitement of current events. Spirit fitting to form once his own, Duskwing finds a semblance of comfort that lets him rest for a time

Wondered where you'd got to.

Hard on the heels of that comment, Blackstar steps across the veil into the eerily lit Crypt. He pauses, taking in his surrounding with a faint air of surprise. Hadn't really expected to find Duskwing here, but it makes sense.

Not exactly a very flattering memorial, though. Suddenly Steadfast's ill-uttered comment makes sense. No wonder Dusky was sensitive about that. Hm.

He glances around, noting the other statue/memorial across the tunnel as he settles into this plane like a puff of smoke drifting in still air. There's an odd sense, something he'd never paid much attention to before, in the back of his mind. His own marker isn't far, just down an adjoining corridor, in fact, and someone's left fresh energon. Weird.

Beside him, Duskwing looks... stricken. Or at the very least, surprised.

Duskwing turns sharply, startled. Blackstar?

There's surprise, and something else on his ghostly face--relief, perhaps. He's not alone after all. He gestures vaguely at both his memorial and Nightcrawler's.

Who moved us here, to the Crypt? Me and Nightcrawler, we was artworks in Slog's studio. He always kept us together, 'cause of the ground-pounders.

He gives Blackstar a puzzled, wondering look. Who cared enough to put us here, and give us back our names?

Blackstar examines the two pieces again, finally shrugging.

I dunno. No one I know said nothin' about it.

He pauses for a moment of thought. If you were at Slog's place, though... Maybe he'd know. You should find him and ask. Course... if he don't know, then he might be looking for you.

He offers Duskwing a wan little grin. I dunno what to tell ya. I only just found my own place here a little while ago, he offers, waving distractedly towards the corridor where his own little alcove sits. It is nice not to be forgotten, though.

Duskwing stoops and runs spectral fingers over the plaques. He frowns ever so slightly, like someone who almost recognizes a voice or a face.

Thought so. Slog cast those plaques. He knows.
