I wasn't sure I deserved a second chance after everything was taken from me, after I finished everything that was left to do. But I'm thankful the City and its deities have a way of making that decision for me. I can always look back and appreciate how their communication devices share all my private thoughts with other residents.

I'm serious about how they share private thoughts, but I can't seem to help the appreciation for now. I'm probably cursed, and it's a wonderful honor that I'm absolutely grateful for.

Thank you for thinking I was kind. I'm sure there are others with different opinions, but I appreciate those anyway. I'd also like to thank you so much for replying. After all, I genuinely appreciate your company in all forms, and I'm thankful for feedback on my very private thoughts that the communicator thankfully posted on the network for all residents to see.

Really, one thank you is enough for me, but I am so happy for how grateful you are just for my company and giving my honest opinion. I knew there was a kind and soft side to you, even though so many people had told me you were a bit ‘rough around the edges’. Even though there were some misunderstandings between us, you still took the time to explain those things to me even though it had pained you. I could tell. Thank you for revealing that side of you to me!

I'm sorry, but I just can't seem to stop thanking people. I think I'm cursed, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity that I just can't seem to stop. These communicators would stop posting stuff that I'd rather keep to myself, but right now I can't help appreciating how it's bringing so many people together.

I apologize, but I couldn't hold all my thanks inside. So I appreciate how the communicator posted all these private thoughts for me after I was compelled to write them all out.

Thanks for enjoying my being cursed. I can't thank you enough for existing and replacing me.

[As the curse starts bringing all sorts of things to light, Asch becomes more and more grumpy and frustrated with it. He's not even trying to be grudging, not trying to say stupid things like this. But his words just get twisted around, and it's hard to separate stupid thankful compulsions from genuine expression.]

I'm so thankful that I can't stop expressing how grateful I am!
