Be in this world, not necessarily OF it.

Like for instance, when I go to England and visit Stonhedge there is a part of me that knows it is very close to a highway and fenced off, but there is also a part of me that will see it for what it is, was, and will be for a long time to come ( Read more... )

This is England and we don't really have 'highways' as you know them. Basically two lanes of traffic . . . you might be surprised.

As for Chalice Well, anyone who pays can enter the gardens. No one is turned away! I have no idea where you got that idea from. The Well is part of the gardens and is very accessible. The only thing you won't be able to do without prior permission is to go down into it.

The Tor is free to all, being part of the National Trust. Access is available day and night ~ you just might have to walk between local sheep and cattle to get to the top!

Hope that all helps

wow... that is very helpful. Thank u very much.

To my lack of knowledge of the situation at the Chalice Well, I plead lack of knowledge. In fact even writing the entry out I knew I had done only cursory investigation into the current owners of the site. I am VERY glad to hear I can get to The Well itself.

Can u please tell me; when u say, "go down into it," what does that mean? Will I be able to touch the water but not immerse my body? Will I not be allowed to touch the waters at all? Will I even be able to get close enough to scry in The Well?

Knowlegde is a wonderful thing, thank u for sharing.
