No classes on Friday meant Lee could be productive. He had the opportunity to complete everything assigned the past week and to even get a head start on the upcoming weekend

Adah was a very solitary person. She'd probably spent more of her life alone than with other people, and that suited her very well. She had had the perfect sort of day for that: an early class was just a blip of activity before disappearing into her research at the library, her research at the lab, and then a quietly passing shift at the volunteer clinic. But, every so often, a certain meloncholy would settle in after all that solitude that she just couldn't shake.
That, and a certain nagging at the back of her half brain, which happened quite often, that she was missing something really, really, really amusing back on the island.
So she had pretty new icons that needed using omg some boredom stupid BSG marathon some quarters and made a phone call.
What? It wasn't like she'd expected the Eel to actually be doing anything on a Friday night.
"Did you know," Adah answered, "that, since the nose actually drips down into the mouth, there's a good chance that mucus mixes with saliva when you kiss someone?"
"...well, I didn't," he said and made a face. "That sounds so appetizing. I'm glad I haven't eaten dinner yet. And now I'm going to think of that ever time I give someone a kiss."
Which meant every time he gave her a kiss, really.
