Lee was asleep. Even though classes had just started, Lee had been up, trying to get ahead of the game with the studying thus, he'd gone to bed late and now was blissfully dreaming of good things.

And, as things are wont to do, that blissful sleep was ripped away by the most annoying alarm clock in the damn world. Lee had heard it before,

After a few classes and a morning of shamelessly running over the toes of anyone who thought it would be nice to hold the door open for her, Adah found herself with an unprecedented moment of time between things that she had no idea what to do with. So, eventually, she decided to make a phone call. She made sure to do it from the courtyard, so that she could keep a tally of people who were trying to avoid looking at the girl in the wheelchair talking into the strange device.

The number she dialed, of course, was the Eel's.

For a few moments, Lee thought the ringing was that damn alarm clock again and he was ready to get up and beat Freddy with the damn thing before he realized it was his phone.

That could make noise, he decided, and he flopped a hand out, flicked it open and said, "H'llo?"

Waking up was a tough thing after that stupid alarm clock.

[SP IS THE DEVIL NO NO NO NO *SIGN OF THE CROSS!* I mean, of course! SP is dandy!]

"I have more than five minutes to myself," Adah said, bypassing the greeting as usual. "Entertain me."

"I almost killed my roommate this morning," he said, rubbing his eyes and coming a little more awake than before. "With his frakking alarm clock."
