Stupid Pet Owners-Not Dunaerin!

In the recent Dunaerin post, we were linked to an entry about Dunaerin not being able to keep her rats. But Dunaerin is not our victim this time!

lilenth, with apparently no Spider experience herself, declares it's evil to keep baby tarantulas in pill bottles. A tarantula raiser, kiffie politely corrects her.

Wank ensues, which follows this basic formula:

I got lost in the second comment. But the idea of sleeping near a bunch of baby tarantulas kept in pill bottles made me shudder a bit.

I will, however, say that the comment about fish being low maintenance was stupid. I had fish as a kid and those things are more time consuming than a kitten and a puppy at the same time.

And TBH, I HATE when people say ANY pets are low maintenance. It depends on the circumstances, really, and how much time you choose to devote to your pet. Pets should be high on your priority list, whether they're snakes or dogs.

I'm still standing by the sea monkeys. They actually do better when you do absolutely nothing but top up their water when it evaporates.

You can still get them at toys r us (and other places too, I'm sure, but that's usually the easiest)

LOL. This whole fight did deserve it's own entry. I kept reading the same thing over and over until I quit and there were still many entries to go.

I'm quite glad it did and I haven't made a fool of myself ^_^ If I didn't smell an opportunity, I would've quit after the third iteration.

I prefer to kill them all with big heavy shoes, myself. Fewer scorch marks that way.
