I always wonder how it is that people fail to be a troll. It's amazing. Do they like chicken out at the last moment?

Trolling is an art form. All trolls can upset people and disrupt a comm; that is their nature. A truly great troll will spawn hundreds of comments, inspire mad debate and vicious mouth-frothing. He can pit a community against itself. He can keep people engaged in pointless arguments for ages. He will cause at least a few comm members to relate TMI anecdotes about how his trolling has disturbed them to their very core. He will zero in on people's weaknesses and exploit them without hesitation. And he can occasionally be very, very funny.

A bad troll is basically that annoying kid in high school with no real friends who always made rude, somewhat nonsensical comments that didn't really go anywhere. He probably had some gross personal habit too, but on the Internet we just have to imagine that part.
