corintha makes a valiant attempt to be supportive, but sticks her foot in her mouth, saying You are not a leper, it's not like you have AIDS.

They are way too sensitive over there. Saying "You are not a leper, it's not like you have AIDS." isn't saying that people with AIDS ARE lepers. They read into stuff way too much.

I used to be a member of tmi_chix and left for the same reason. It was funny at first, but there are only so many menstrual clot/poop/mooncup mishap/yeast infection stories you can read before it starts getting annoying.
