I woke up realizing that this meant I *subconsciously* shipped Sari/Bee. Which is a little sad, really. I think I need a life.
I would totally write it if there were any way for that to make sense. There'd have to be a whole story in there about why her memory was gone and I really don't know what I'd do about that. But now I want to. :D
It's cool, I do too :\ Not in a pervy way so much, but in more of a, hey if she can live to be a few thousand years old, it wouldn't be THAT creepy! XD;
Omgggg you may have just damned yourself. Whenever I come across an idea and think "well how does THAT work?" my brain goes "well, let's figure it out" and by figure it out, that means writing it until it makes sense XD
Oh, I already knew I shipped them (with a lot of "no pervy stuff and no actual romantic stuff till she's older" provisions), I just had no idea it had infiltrated that deeply into my mind. No, I've shipped them since "Velocity" and the whole sequence where Bumblebee ice-skates with Sari clinging to his shoulder and giggling, because they are adorable and make such perfect partners in crime and I want them to get up to so much mischief together. And also I do a lot of Doctor/companion shipping so I am totally used to huge creepy age gaps. XD
Although I have to admit my resistance to reading fic about the two of them when she's older is sloooowly breaking down, I just don't like to admit that as much.OH NOES. :O I have to admit I've never taken that approach to writing a difficult idea. I...almost want to write it backwards, now that I think about it. Like we're introduced to Sari after she's already lost her memory, and the only clue she has as to what's happened before is her mysterious talking iPod. And then things unravel from

You know, that was one of the minor quibbles I had with Inception; the dreams were way too normal until the gravity started going wrong.
I kind of wanted to see, I don't know, a line of can-can-dancing hippos in the middle of the highway chase or something.
DUDE THIS WAS MY BIGGEST THING WITH INCEPTION TOOOOOOOO!!! Like really, where was the random appearance of Mr. Magoo comic book characters in life size form, and the giant bats in my hallway, and having to get Toby and CJ from the West Wing out of a snowbank in my truck? I want actual, realistic-because-they-are-completely-unrealistic dream scenarios represented.
What wierded me out the most was that the projections were *alerted* that something was wrong when impossible physics and landscape shifts started happening. Isn't that perfectly normal in a dream? Wouldn't they be more alerted if there wasn't weird things happening all over the place? I mean, it would have made the movie a lot more visually distracting, but still.

So instead he took an altmode as a yellow iPod so he could be with her all the time and yammer in her ear about all their adventures.
I want this fic. It would be so lovely and sad and completely fitting. JUST SAYIN'.
