Oh yes, the tattoos were absolutely "fun" to do! Not. D: Basically, it went about finding shapes that had been designed as his tattoos for Photoshop, but upon closer inspection, those were NOT Renji's tattoos as previously stated. So...I drew those myself and that was fun times lol. His hair was originally up as well, so there would have been more, but then I decided for his hair to be down and this was the outcome.
Also, I'm awful apparently and like to challenge the crap out of myself. I do it all the time and I can't tell you why, haha!
Maaaan no way I would have the patience to do those tattoos! LOL So I commend you on that! XD Did you not like the way you did his hair up? *_* Have you seen the recent chapters? Renji be lookin' kinda fine. XD

Tattoos were awful. I'll be heading back to some Naruto drawing real soon now, where tattoos are less involved. Well, for the time being at least, haha.
And to answer the hair, no, not really. It looked odd because I had his hair up with a pair of glasses, but then I realized he wasn't wearing any clothes and decided to go with his hair down, hahahaha!
