Just watched the first season. JON SNOW. WOLVES.

First order of business; get Jon Snow icon. Second order of business; read the series.

Because I am actually itching to get back to fandom, and it feels so good.

Anyone out there into it? Is the second season good? Comms? Recs?

I love GoT, but not in a fannish way, so alas, I can't be of much help. Second season is excellent, too. (Better than the first season in some ways, if you love Tyrion, and I do.) But yay GoT!

Tyrion is one of my favorite characters, with Arya and Sam. He is so poised yet sympathetically freaked out by his circumstances through his various trials. Good news, then.

The two seasons as pretty much the same: way too much Jon Snow and Rob Stark, not nearly enough Arya, Sansa, Tyrion but to be fair they do get as much if not more time than the boring brothers. There's some fab new characters that I think you will like, too.

I don't get into too much of the fandom because there's quite a bit of books versus show stuff which is quite tedious.

sabrina_il does picspams. You could probably find some great stories by sorting on AO3 by hits.
