I haven't started reading In Amnion yet as I like to wait till WiPs are finished, but I just wanted to mention this story by blackfic, called Caught In The Ashes, that is pretty brilliant post-CoE and what I would definitely call horrifying too.

Hey, thanks. :D Actually I have read that story, and while it's very good and definitely horrifyingly sad, when I was talking about In Amnion I meant more that it is in the supernatural/horror genre.
