I'm not dead. I keep intending to post, but then never do. I will one day!

Oh, that's good. BTW, how has employment been for you after you quit your job? I keep hearing about how the job market sucks in America right now, but between my Dad holding his job and me being in Japan for a year, I never seem to feel it. (Well, until I try to go find a part-time job in upstate NY, that is, but that's its own bag of crap.)

Job market is pretty bad in South Florida because we got hit pretty much the worst in the whole housing crisis. I had a lot of trouble finding a job after I quit, it was another several months before I got some temp work. Then I finally got hired at a mortgage forclosure firm (which, obviously, are doing pretty well).

I like my job, and I get paid a lot more than every other job I interviewed for and got rejected for was even offering. I just had a really good interview with the hiring partner.
