One of my friends was in Spring Awakening with Iwan and (from what he said) that the joke on set was to get him laid. I hung out with them multiple times and Jamie kept pushing me toward Iwan but he was so awkward. Actually awkward doesn't describe it, totally adorable but I couldn't hold a conversation with him.
I could tell he was a great guy, but simply ending up at a pub, or their flat once a week did not develop a lasting friendship. They had to introduce me to him twice before he remembered me from week to week. And he'd call me the wrong name regularly. But Jamie kept insisting that was Iwan, it had nothing to do with the impression I was leaving!
