Friday Afternoon: Washington DC to the Causeway

May 09, 2008 18:28

This place was not at all like Andalasia.

Ever since she had climbed out of that metal hole in the ground, Giselle had had to work very hard to find the good in anything.  It had been raining and the beautiful dress the mice had helped her make was covered in water and dirt, and it had been very hard to find anyone with even a spark of kindness.  Even Grumpy had been more grumpy than usual!

After the mean old man had stolen her tiara, Giselle made her way through the streets of this big, big city, dodging the metal beasts and so strangely angry crowds of more people than she'd ever seen in her life.  She'd been walking for what almost could have been forever and ever when she finally came to a bridge.  Any proper girl of Andalasia - and Giselle certainly was one - knew to check under the bridge for trolls, and when she saw that the coast was clear, she made her way across it to see - Oh! - a castle!

"Oh!  They'll know Edward for sure!" she exclaimed, hurrying forward to the island and nearly falling face first in one last patch of mud before the heat of what was obviously an enchanted island.  "Hello!  Anyone in the castle?  Do you know Edward?" Giselle called, making her way quickly up the road to hopefully find her true love.

[OOC:  Mostly establishy for she is on her way to the picnic but open if you want to catch a girl in a big hoop skirt hurrying through town.]
