A few weeks ago, one of my colleagues/softball teammate had a Rock Band party followed by dancing. Queen B had been talking about going dancing for the longest. In fact, she took winterredwood and I to task for not being up for it

I don't tend to perceive her that way. What makes you think so?

Cause she couldn't handle you having fun with the "wrong" music. Throw in a racial comment and some selective acceptance of gay culture only on her terms, and the picture is not that pretty from here.

I think she handled it well enough. Most of what she said was just to tease me, which she does a lot. She did try to dance along herself, but couldn't get into it. She really loves dancing to techno, so even the R&Bish music wouldn't have been her first choice.

And:

She does have a particular reason for why she doesn't like to hear men referring to each other using female nicknames, but I can't remember the specifics and didn't want to paraphrase. It's hard for me to see her as having a selective acceptance of gay culture since she is gay. I tend to see it as just a preference for who she likes to hang out with.
