Revelations: final thoughts

I've "finished" Assassin's Creed Revelations, and watched Embers, which means that I've done all of the Ezio stuff for Assassin's Creed.

Since the trailer came out for Revelations, I've been hella excited about it ( Read more... )

(Usual post saying that this looks really good and I really should try some of this series at some point instead of just saying that I will.) In particular, messing with the guards sounds fun... it's something that I really loved about the first Metal Gear Solid, before they then made the guards too efficient to be enjoyably thick.

NThere is a good amount of freedom to find new ways to kill people. You cam sneak up on them, pull them into a tent or haystack and kill them silently, charge at them wit an axe, poison them, set mercenaries or assassins on them. . .

A friend of mine swears by jumping off a rooftop and stabbing people in the face. My cirrent favourite is to hire some courtesans, have them flirt with a guard and then punch him for looking at my bird.

There is a lot of scope for doing whatever you want (you don't even have to kill them).
