Yahoo's 20 Great Movie Creatures, with some discussion on it. She rightfully expressed some trouble with this list, particularly its reliance on very recent movies to hook the reader. The list was, admittedly, sort of lazy. I didn't get my chance to chime in on the discussion, but as it appears below, I

Oh wow, I totally missed this. Hm. Going to have to look, since I do love me some monster.

Wow, shill much, do they? I would add Darkness, the Pale Man and the Han River Monster in there, and, well, Godzilla and Kong, I suppose, if only for their being iconic and all.

I might throw in Maxmillian from the Black Hole. I'll have to think of more...

I very much considered Maximillian, although I think I will probably place him on the list of Top 20 Movie Creeps (rather than critters).

I'm gonna have to make a nod to Ms. K, I think some of these will/should become iconic in the future, but are not necessarily at this time.

I never saw The Host, so I didn't know how to rate the effectiveness of the Han River Monster, so I cut it.
