I am crocheting christmas presents while listening to my newly created winter '08 playlist!

I need to learn how to crochet! We are all being super crafty this year (because nobody has any money, ha), so far I have made soaps (scented and shaped like glittery snowflakes!), charm bracelets, and magnets. I also am wrapped most of my stuff in brown paper bags, decorated up with ribbons and stickers. I'm having a blast!

oh, and we're also making cookies and chocolate covered pretzels!

I can't wait for Christmas!

aww i'm not putting up my tree this year. :( won't be here for xmas. BUT..I am going to start decorating my classroom like crazy!! :)

hey josh mentioned your dad worked for the CIC - do you know if he'd know anything about applying to immigrate as self-employed? we've literally pored over everything on the website and it looks like it's far too easy... there seems to be no minimum earnings required, it doesn't mention anything about needing proof of past income or how we would prove mike was self-employed (we have professionally done tax records and his nightclub flyers as well as wedding contracts...) we're going to talk to a laywer about it when we can, but we really can't apply before we have the baby anyway since we'll need his birthdate and a passport for him and everything. any help would be amazing!

Next time I see my dad I'll run it by him! Sounds like you guys are on the right track, though.
