Sucker for punishment...

Alright... not sure if this is good idea or not, but I'd like to pose a question, and get only anonymous responses in return, to ensure honesty (hopefully). All I ask is that your answers are truthful and not needlessly cruel. I'm not saying I only want good things said, I just mean don't be retarded and try and cut me up on here without reason ( Read more... )

Quoting Ozzy. Not bad. As for dreams, I try to stick to goals, since they have deadlines. I don't even have a license to drive, but I get the jist, and agree. It's always better to be the sheep dog as opposed to one of the flock. As for the last bit, I couldn't agree more, and hopefully soon I'll have that faith and the means to start living it up right. Thank you.

The fact that you're posting this in your journal makes it obvious that you're unhappy with your lifestyle as it is right now. This alone is a large step from where you've been in the past few months. I would only hope that this new 'insight' into life will continue and force you to do what's best for you. I find that you sit on your laurels and don't challenge yourself. You have massive potential and you seem to be inclined to waste it. It can be very frustrating to see you stuck in a job that's beneath you, and in a town that drains you when there is so much out there for you to experience if you would just take the chance ( ... )

Thank you very much. You're both absolutely correct and insightful. You're very well written. I appreciate your input and rest assured that I want to start bettering myself too. As for wrong decisions about going out west, I know it's a big risk, but I've never really taken any, or been out of the Maritimes, or flown, etc. I'd like to experience all of that before I get too old and get content with mediocrity. I can promise you that what's-her-name isn't an option any longer, and I'll be the first to tell you that I was a fool for far too long and will never make that mistake again. Again, thank you.

Jess, you're awesome. You have an amazing personality -- you're intelligent, you're witty, you're hilarious, you're thoughtful, and you have a comeback and a quote for almost anything. You're unforgettable.

And that's why I think, like the last couple people on here, that you should really do what you want to do. We all know you're not where you want to be -- so where do you want to be? You can do so many amazing things with yourself. And maybe they're not waiting for you in Amherst, but then again, that's not for anyone else to say but you. You decide. But just don't forget your needs, desires, ambitions, hopes, dreams, even stupid-seeming ideas... we all know that with what you have, you can do anything. :)

This made me smile to the point of hurting my face. Thank you. I'm not sure I deserve such praise.
