that was sweet though, and lovely, no background at all for me, other than that Carson dies, and I have no idea who Malerie is to be honest. but it was lovely indeed.

Thanks. *hugs* It'll make more sense once you've seen the movie. Malerie is his friend, Rebel Wilson's character. She's awesome. She always has a camcorder with her and records everything because she feels that everything is worth remembering. Throughout the whole story she can't come up with an original story, she keeps stealing from already famous books. In the book she says that the other authors are stealing her ideas and then Carson convinces her to write satire by just changing important names and places. xD

But the book, which is Carson's journal, doesn't explain what happens to her. I mean, obviously, because it's his journal. The movie has a very short scene at the end where she takes over the writers' club, which is when this takes place. It doesn't say much but you can tell from the look on her face that she'll be okay, which is all I really needed to know. =)
