I am SO glad that you are okay.

My mum drove her brand-new Micra to visit me once, and encountered a sneaky low wall. She was ok, but the car was written off.

My stepdad didn't speak to her for a week, and I have reserved a special place in Hell for him for this reason.

It's one of those moments you wish you could rewind back to and do over differently. Sneaky low walls need dealing with, though. It's only up the road - I'm tempted to take a sledgehammer to it.

A lorry containing watercress dealt with ours, and it was never replaced. Short of a similar act of vitamins, I'd say a sledgehammer would be the next best thing.

Sorry to hear about this.

Know how you feel. Dented my fiat against the back of a SUV earlier this year (it turned out to be a right off).... (should have been further back).

Hope you come to love the new car, whenever it arrives.

It looks as though my car is fixable, so here's hoping the garage can make a decent job of it!

Oh dear! I'm glad you're not squished. And sad the green demon is squished. Poor green demon.

:D for saying I drove you several hundred miles in it, I'm amazed you missed noticing that I haven't had the green demon for over two months...

But I'm not squished, so it's all right.

I... knew that. I just have a mental block when it comes to cars.

Arrrgh! It was that freak corner wasn't it? The one that is a sharp turn even on two legs.

The sledgehammer sounds so tempting but even more so does the idea of taking one of the delivery trucks and smashing it into that bastard wall.

But the most important thing is that you're alright.

~hugs~

Maybe I can go out each night and dismantle the wall a stone at a time...

Beginning of October - the garage is booked up until then. It's a shame motability don't establish dates before they make you pick a garage - I could have gone to one in Chesterfield instead.
