Since I'm teaching an Asian Theatre course this semester, I've set up my eBay account to send me e-mails when certain keywords show up in descriptions: "wayang," "Bunraku," "Kathakali," etc.

I'm not all that familar with Ebay, but can you change the keywords to being something like 'Chau+Theatre' so that it looks for your keywords in reference to what you're actually interested in?

A 27 audio Cd of Kant is beyond weird...it makes me wonder who didn't have anything better to do than to concieve/record that idea. Who would want to listen? Students on a long drive?? The idea baffles me.

I can understand reading Kant--I've even been known to do so myself. But I found myself wanting to go back and re-read sections, check what had been said a few pages earlier, look up terms, etc. I can't imagine anyone getting anything out of it just by listening to it through.

You're right, I could narrow the search, but ultimately I'd rather get an occasional false "hit" than to miss something (e.g. if the listing was for "Chau dance," or if it used "theater" instead of "theatre").

I understand reading Kant too, the only thing I can really think of for a reason to listen is perhaps for the blind? Maybe they play it on the radio- you know, in between the readings from Penthouse and playboy...haha.
