Yesterday: thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening for most of the afternoon and early evening. Puddles on the stage. Is my little bit of open air Shakespeare going to get called off? Back in the familial bosom, as 'twere, for my first Christmas at home in five years. A touch dull, but the food is adequate and the booze plentiful.
