Gosh. That is exactly how I pictured Dick dealing with his grief. I have been sitting here trying to write it myself for hours. :). So yeah you're kinda my hero.

Sorry 'bout that. Mind ran away for a second. ;D Anyway, thank you as well for the nice feedback. I'm loving all the different interpretations of Dick post-finale. Suprising how such a stock character can produce a variety of character speculations.

This was fantastic, Rae. You hit all the right notes with all the points-of-view...from Madison's little fluttery reaction, to Dick's five stages of grief, to Duncan to all the way down to Mac. This was good, very good...and did you used to write "Roswell" fic?

Thanks! The plot bunny arrived around 4 a.m. and refused to let me get back to sleep so... this is the bleary-eyed result.

And I did write Roswell fic, about a million years ago. Alright, more like seven years ago, but it still feels like a lifetime. And now that I'm reading over your userinfo, I recognize you as well! Fandom is a small world.
