"And what death trap did you procure for us this time, Uchiha?" Orochimaru asked, glancing with some odd mixture of disdain and trepidation at the.. Dear God, who actually made a car in that horrid shade of yellow? He could already feel it burning it's way into his retinas, searing itself into his brain so he'd never ever forget that shade of yellow.
"A taxi?" Sasuke ventured, his left eyebrow arching ever so slightly, his voice barely making it a question. "Don't tell me the big bad rogue ninja is afraid of a mere taxi?" he asked.
Orochimaru reached behind Sasuke and smacked him, watching his student stumble from the unexpected blow. "No, you impudent whelp," he said flatly. "I'm not afraid of a taxi. I'm merely stating that that one is a death trap and I do not relish the idea of risking life and limb in that thing. My God, it's held together by duct tape, spit and bubblegum. If you want to take your life into your hands and get in it, be my guest. I, on the other hand, will walk."
Sasuke glanced at his sensei, then at the taxi, back at his sensei, and gave a wearied sigh. 'Well, so much for that,' he thought as he followed his sensei, wondering who was making it so this mission was dragging on for much longer then he wanted. The mission would have been over and he could have gone home if Orochimaru had only gotten in that damn taxi. 'Note to self, next time a spy mission comes up, reject it. It's not worth the trouble.'
