Dread and Peak [trying for canon]strongheartmaidNovember 25 2015, 03:29:54 UTC
AN: Feeling bleh about this since canon has them as enemies
Peak sat huddled in his corner [something that he really hated thinking about], his pale blue eyes studying the monstrosity that was taking up a good portion of the room. It looked nothing like the trees back on Airlandis - the ones specially grown for the holiday. This was.. well.. He wasn't sure how to describe it other than big. And ugly. Sort of like his host [and his mind rebelled against using that term - it felt too fluffy].
Dread ignored his pet for the moment - too busy focusing on supervising the decorating of the tree. "This would go faster if you helped," he drawled, finally slanting his gaze over to his pet.
Peak stubbornly refused to move. "Sorry, drawing the line at decorating a tree with you," he muttered. Besides, that would put him too close and he really didn't want to be any closer to Dread than he had to be.
Aaron/Iranda and SummitstrongheartmaidNovember 25 2015, 21:00:25 UTC
Aaron settled in his favorite chair, his firstborn comfortably settled on his lap, Z'neth's strange dark eyes (ones they couldn't explain - none in their immediate families had such dark eyes) were closed for the moment. He stroked his dark hair and smiled. Well, at least the elder child was content to quietly doze while Iranda tried to wrangle their more hyperactive secondborn from the nursery.
Iranda entered the room finally and set Summit on the floor. "I hope if we do have a third one, that they are as mellow as Z'neth," she said, sinking into her favorite chair.
"Bite your tongue, woman," Aaron snarked. "Or did you forget all about his first Christmas?" At her confused expression, he sighed. "That was the year we had to reset the tree. Twice..."
"Oh," Iranda breathed, only just remembering what she had tried to block out. Her attention returned to her son and she groaned. *Summit, we do not eat the wrapping paper."

Dread merely shrugged and went back to work.

Summit just laughed.
