Black Poplar - Summit

Summit settled in the shade of the black poplar tree, knees tucked under his chin as he mulled things over. Courage, he snorted, recalling the meaning of the tree he sat under. And he needed all the courage he could muster up if he was going to ask the girl he loved for Dragon knew how long to marry him.

Hopefully he'd come up with something better than 'you, me, marriage' when he finally spoke with her at dinner tonight. He'd suffer through one of Orak's painfully long [and pointed] stories if he had to.
