Moonwort - Moondance [Shadowsong, Cleo]

"What are you doing?" Shadowsong asked from his cozy little stall in the stables. He had to admit, he didn't mind being cooped up inside this building - it beat being outside in the cold, in the rain, in the snow any day of the week. He nickered softly to the dozing Cleo, earning a sleepy response from the small unicorn.

"Looking for moonwort, what does it look like I'm doing?" Moondance asked, sounding a little exasperated. Her ears were back and her tail was sharply swishing in her irritation.

"I have no idea," Shadowsong said dryly. "And why are you looking for moonwort anyway?"

Her tail gave a particularly sharp swish as she turned her head to look at him. "I need to forget I saw something."

"Oh?" Shadowsong said, turning his full attention to the older unicorn. "And what did you see?"

"You don't want to know," Moondance answered. There were some things best left unknown - especially the mating habits of their princess.
