Pippi is dressed in a white dress with a red sash. There's a wreath on her head that has shiny golden stars woven into it. Normally, there would be lit candles instead of stars. She's not afraid of setting her hair on fire, she just doesn't want to get wax in anybody's carpet ( Read more... )

She may or may not have picked up an entourage of gremlins dressed up as The Queen of Light's attendants by now.

Or maybe not.

But she does stop at the stables and leaves some rolls for Old Man.

River was dreaming. There was singing in a foreign language in her dream.

When Berthold poked her she sat up. There was singing in a foreign language, not just in her dream.

She walked over to the door and opened it quietly.

"Woooooe," Buffy complained as she let River drag her all the way out of bed. "Hi Bertie," she added, when she spotted the tentacles. A tentacle waggled in greeting.

River's grin widened as she saw the rolls. They smelled delicious. As did the coffee. And the tea. And the chocolate. "I can't decide what to drink," she said.
