Room 504: Tuesday - Way damn early.

"What are you running from?!" Pippi called after the woman in the suit as she sped past.

Pippi looked back in the direction the woman had come from and there was nothing but blackness.

"You have to be running from rather then to because you're always looking back." she pondered out loud.

*sploosh*

//Don't eat me!//

Pippi turned in the water and saw a shark fast advancing on Walter.

//Swim Walter! Swim!//

The race was on, Walter swimming for the boat, the shark swimming after Walter, and Pippi swimming after the shark.

Sharp white teeth scraped across flesh, sending clouds of red swirling spreading out into the water around them. Pippi reached out...

And placed her hand on Walter's shoulder.

"Have you ever killed anybody Pippi?" Walter asked letting wires drop from his fingers. "It's easy with Nazis, you just keep telling yourself they're not people."

Pippi looked around for Alfred. Alfred was supposed to show up and talk some sense into him. There was nobody else however. Just the trees and the ducks of the park, and the orchestra. The orchestra which comprised of Nazis.

"Just when you think you've seen everything 'eh?"

"Why do I keep dreaming about you?"

"What makes you think this is a dream?"

"Because this has happened already, it's over and done with." Pippi thought as she looked around for Alfred. "And because you're talking to me. You can't come back and bother me so this must be a dream."

"If you say so."

Where is Alfred? Alfred is supposed to snap him out of this. Oh that's right, she said something and he interrupted.

"Yes, I have. And no, it's not. Walter..."

No Alfred. Where was Alfred?

"Follow me," he said, "Or don't." He stepped forward, sliding his shoulder out from under her hand and walked forward into the darkness spreading out his wires to either side like wings.

"Fraulein Longstocking. We must thank you so much for taking such good care of Our Boys. Permit us to a provide you with a momento."

Pippi looked down at a folded piece of cloth in her hands. As she pulled the folds off it to see what was inside she was struck by how nice it smelled. Well, okay, it smelled primarily of cigarettes, but there was more to it then that. Cigarettes included, it was a nice smell.

She held it up; a long long, detached, braid of human hair.

Pippi opened her eyes and looked at the statue by her bed.

"What are you running from?"
