Today had started out so well, a party, tuxes, a break from the usual routine all making it look brighter. Leo had looked forward to it in some way, feeling more relaxed then he should have been when they went out that day

To say Raph was agitated after tonights events, would be the understatement of the century. The night started so nice, but like all their luck in this screwed up future, it didn't last long, thanks to some stupid alien device that took over peoples minds, owned by that damn Jammerhead guy

"Astute of you to notice. For all you know I could just be sleep talking." Teased the older male, lips quirking up into a tired sort of smile. The usually blue donned turtle feeling a little happier at the sight of his mate, it easing away the thoughts from before.

He sat slowly, able to bite back most of the cringe his movement earned. Shifting a little to face his lover. Leo gesturing for the larger male to join him on the bed.

"You are laying right back down mister." Raph grunted, and moved to gently push the older male back down, after seeing the few small cringes that managed to get through his mates mask. "Yer not a hundred percent yet." He added, and moved to sit on the edge of the bed.

"Raph, I've laid down enough." He groused moving back up stubbornly, leaning his shell back on the headboard of their bed. "Still, I can do more laying down tomorrow. I'm not missing anything."
