I started reading a book about surviving in the arts. So far it has been helpful. One of the things that it mentioned was that I should keep a journal. Well I have one here and I don't use it much. I am supposed to ask tough questions of myself and try to learn to over come all the little negative voices in my head that will hold me back. So

Wow, long time no talk! Good to hear from you. My prof's are regionally biased and seem to think you can't "make it" if you aren't here! Well, I don't know either way, since i'm just beginning the journey.

I have made some great connections here, which have led to teaching gigs and comissions..... hum I donno.
