It's not domestic AU but it's still the greatest ever. Because it's like a domestic AU on a tour bus.

Gerard grinned. "I know," he said smugly. "I am the best boyfriend."

There is totally a deleted scene at the end where they're sitting in the front of the bus, drinking coffee and grinning stupidly at each other, and then Mikey walks in from the bunks all bleary-eyed and sleepy and hair sticking up every which way. And Frank is like, "Hey Mikeyway!" in this chirpy voice, and Mikey glares it him, all, "Why the fuck are you so happy, ugh" and Frank giggles. "Your brother woke me up this morning," he says, and Mikey blinks at him, kind of confused, before he looks over and sees the tell-tale blush on Gerard's cheeks and his pleased little grin and then he suddenly gets it and wants to scrub his brain out. "Ugh, you guys are gross." But at least they made coffee already, so it's all right.
