Ah, Hyde, it's great! I always love little slice of life stories, and them so long after "Strange Bedfellows" was fantastic to see. I really liked that one of Chichlet's hoard turned out to be a witch.

So glad to hear from you! And I'm glad you enjoyed it--I love reading these sorts of things, too--and we love writing them, so we hope to keep them coming. And Sands has his little namesake and his new pet; while Snape has the namesake as well, he certainly doesn't like it, so it only seemed fair that he have a little pet of his own amongst Chiclet's brood.

Thanks for reading!

So good! :-) I loved it all... especially when the twins were doing Sands's hair... and that Isabel turned out to be a witch. Thanks, and please keep them coming!

Thanks so much! Yeah--they've both gone mellow in their old age. And if Sands is going to dote on Little Sheldon Jeffrey (which he does), Snape would need a little pet of his own to spoil as well--just to keep in the game. ;)

We'll do our best to keep them on the way!

That may very well be the best Christmas story ever! It's lovely to see how the guys have mellowed (not too much; just enough) and interact with the kids--just lovely. And Isabel being a witch? Best thing ever! I love it!

Goodness! That's high praise indeed! Thank you!

This was fun--if a bit tricky--to write; showing them being all mellow, but, as you said, not too mellow. I tend to think the mellowness is largely reserved for the kids--they're just as horrible to each other as they always were.

And Snape kind of has a history of turning up Muggle-born witches and getting along with them better than he does with the rest of the population at large, so we figured we'd run with it. That, and it gives him his own playmate when Sands is off with Little Sheldon Jeffrey.

Thanks again!
