I love the atmosphere in this story, the emptiness and silence of the world so absolute, so palpable. I love the look you gave us inside Dean's head, how devastating and true it feels. I love that Sam reciprocates it all, because of course he does. And this bit: He’ll take what Dean has to give, take more than he’s been given, and in that way, they’ll always be brothers, no matter what else they’ll be. He wonders if deep inside himself, Sam has a similarly empty pit. YES. ♥ It made me tear up, because that's how alike their need for each other is, it's how deep it goes.
