I'm always up for some writing-chat, aside from doing actual writing it's the best way to grow and improve.

That would be fantastic. Process-chat is definitely a great way to pick apart writing and see what works. Cheers.

There's lots of art I'd like to do for folk but not this month...I might surprise you with something later in the year!

I'm always up for 2&3, and could try to help with 4 as well, if you want. <3

You're always a star with 2 and 3, and when it comes to 4, there's nobody I'd trust more ♥

I'm pretty much back to work as a beta again, so please feel free to ping me! That includes story talk as needed too :-) I use googlechat/hangouts as well as facebook chat or skype, so whatever works for you :-)

You've been so kind on the beta front - I really appreciate it (and will absolutely ping you - I'm almost ashamed of how much I have to write this new year).

Fic talk!! Yesss. And shoptalking fic in those early stages, thinking it through organically--I'm so into that as well. Which is I think why I've never really been totally sold on what a more typical definition of beta-reading is. Not that I don't appreciate betas when I ask for them! It's great. But I think often what I need more is that alpha-read and talk-through.

I'm also definitely better at just offering my impressions and reactions as a reader (either before posting or afterward, in comments) than in offering strict beta services, which I don't find as core to how I want to live my fandom life. That being said, next time you're working on something and you'd like an ear and readerly impressions, it'd be a pleasure for me! :)

I am addicted to fic talk, it's almost shameful (and I also enjoy shoptalking other people's fic - I just really like watching that creative process unfold, because it's amazing what other people do). I deeply appreciate beta readers because I am the world's worst when it comes to reasonable grammar, but that alpha-read is really important to getting an actual handle on the fic.

I would really appreciate an ear/readerly impressions if you get a chance, I love the feel/uniqueness you bring to your fic, and a few tips couldn't hurt! Same offer back if you ever need it.
