Three Favourite Fics (or Three French Hens for the December meme)

I'm skipping around these until I can get a scanner for my stick figure posts. amberdreams asked me what my three favourite fics were, in a cruel cruel move since picking three favourite fics was not an easy task. Picking thirty favourites would be difficult enough! In the end I picked three stories that have stuck with me for some time.

I loooooove Last Outpost. I've read it several times, and listened to the podfic several times, too. Something about it is so soothing, while being incredibly sad at the same time. It gives me such a wonderful emotional catharsis.
