I liked this update--it looks like Jared and Gen are finally starting to wake up a bit. Those shots made me think that the omegas short life span is more than genetically engineered, but I thought that in the beginning--any society that believes it's okay to discard sentient beings like old socks would hardly draw the line at murder.

Jensen is so fascinating here, there's so much going on and I kind of like the limitation of only seeing him though Jared's eyes and having to figure out what's changing in Jensen through that limited viewpoint.

Thank you! Certainly there are some stirrings of awareness beginning to happen. I'm especially happy that Jensen is interesting- as you mention, seeing him through Jared's viewpoint only is quite limiting so I'm glad he transcends that a bit. Thanks again

God, you've got me wondering about so many things! For instance, I'm wondering if this degeneration thing is even real, or if they just say that to push people to knock up their Omegas quickly so that they don't have enough time to get attached. Wouldn't be good for business if the regular folks started caring and worrying about their Omegas' rights.

And the injections... Fertility drugs? Or as someone else suggested, something to trigger some kind of degeneration?

So many questions, and I can't wait to read the answers to each and every one! This is such a fabulous and rich story, and everything is unfolding so naturally and deliciously!

I am really enthralled by this story (and not so great at mysteries, so I wanna know what's going to happen!). And I love how you're shaping Omega-Jensen in this story; he's kind of a mystery but sweet, and I'd like to know what he's thinking most of the time.
