Oh my God, this is awesome! It's my prompt, and this is everything I wanted from it. I love the scene in the park, so creepy and wonderfully written. Creepy sentient birds are my favorite thing. The idea of them watching Sam all his life is so creepy and awesome. Thank you!!

Nicely done! Crows are just little piles of creepy feathers and eyes--you did a fabulous job of making them even more creepy. Especially the part where Sam coaxes, or so he thinks, the crow onto his finger. It seemed like such a good thing to do. Poor Sam, he's going to have that happen to him over and over.
