I've been writing mostly Hawaii Five-0 and a few other random ones recently. Trek's kind of gone meh for me until we get a new movie, although I have a couple WIPs I want to crank out this summer maybe (one for big bang). I just want them off my plate.

This really is ridiculously creative. I loved the notion of Kirk having Vulcan ancestry, it puts such an interesting spin on everything from their marriage to potential babies, and the Kirk family legacy. Sighs happily, it's just wonderful, though I have to admit I am still entranced with the Trek fiction.

I have a question, how would you feel about some of us dropping this story idea around to see if we can get some other authors to take this idea for a spin? It's so cool. Thanks for sharing this charming piece of fic. -SB

I'm glad you liked it. As for your question, it's not like I'm going to get outraged and flounce if someone else writes fic with the plot of 'Kirk is part Vulcan', but to make it like a fic challenge or whatever, wouldn't it be better to do something that hasn't been done already? There are enough people trying to make other people write 'plot bunnies' that surely you can find something else engaging to go with.

Good point, besides I have the feeling that enough people will see, and adore your fic, that I won't have to say a word. When I run into a really creative idea I can't help getting excited, smiles. This was great, and the set-up, just perfect. :D -SB
