I like to read it too, so I'm definitely checking the links you got.
For me, it is quite hard to imagine them as a couple, especially Obelix, who is so sensitive to female charm. For asterix, it is a lot less clear, but I have some sort of silly childhood crush on him, and that's probably why I like to picture him straight.

But I'm not saying I will never try such a fanfic, I'm just working on a lengthy story now, so it will not be something I will do soon.
I was delayed because we have had a lot of work in our recently bought house, but slowly things are getting a bit in place, we have internet again...so I can get on with the story.
