1.  It's just rained here for the 3rd day in a row.  This is extremely unusual weather, from what everyone has told me.  There have been spates of partly cloudy weather during the day, but the massive thunderstorms at night have more than made up for them.  Unfortunately, all of the thunderstorms have been making it somewhat difficult for me to ( Read more... )

Massachusetts has lots of laws to prevent one enjoying oneself.

Word to the wise: when smuggling baclava into the USofA, do not hide it in your underwear. :D

1. Word. So, for a minor tax (a bottle donation to the shippee), I am shipping to RI, both now and in the future.

2. I won't be hiding baklava *anywhere* in my checked baggage! There was so much honey in it that it started leaking through the box before I was even able to get it back to the hotel. Mmmm, honey!

If I were ever to get married again, that's exactly the kind of place I'd choose. But I agree--definitely good story fodder.
