Oh, yes...no way for him to mindread the issue, since we have yet to meet. :-) It was this, or continue to suffer in silence.

Mom always told me that if you want there to be any likelihood of getting what you want, you need to ask for it. It just took me a long time to do it this time!

I think the thing that finally wore me down is that this has started interfering with my sleep. Otherwise, I think I'd still be in conflict-avoidance mode!
