Tl;dr: I had to write up a character background for one of my boyfriend's D&D campaigns. It's a pirate game, set 1707-ish, only not, because it's set on an alternate Earth. The game is meant to have the feel of Sid Meier's Pirates! (a computer game), and my bf asked us to write our characters' backgrounds so he can incorporate them into his plot ( Read more... )

Ooo. looks great! I don't remember what you were originally doing with these characters, but this sounds like it could be fun anyway

They were part of the Pendragon family; Julian = Dalziel and Madeline = Madaline... obviously. XD They were both Zaizens, and not part of the main family, but Julian/Dal was chosen to be the head of the Pendragons. Madaline was a candidate, too, but the two talked it out and agreed that Dal should be the head, even though that wound up opening up her "I always come second" issues. That's about all I know. XD They never showed up in the RO RP.
