I haven't really done much for Martin Luther King Jr. day growing up and into my adulthood. I quickly give thought to how fortunate I have things in today's world versus over 40 years ago. Some serious xenophobia. (But, hey, at least we're afraid of ALL other races/creeds, and not just one, right?). My best friend of 20 years and I were discussing the dependence on electronics for all aspects of life the other day...we no long NEED to interact with people to live (barter, to literally raise the roof on a house), yet we have "tools" for all of these needs that are really wants and not needs.

Don't get me wrong. We have some awesome machines and I love computers (duh). However, I ultimately don't want them to be more important than people ( ... )
