So cute! Matt really is lonely and Brian is an amazing friend for him, no matter what else happens between them. If Brian can just get Matt to loosen up a little he'll find out that everything can be better. Hell, he doesn't even know that it's really his fault those people got fired. Usually in those kind of meetings (in my experience) the decision has already been made. He could've aced the presentation and most of those people would still be on the streets. I hope he can come to terms with that.

I love how Brian just makes himself at home at Matt's house. I think he made it more of a home to him than it is for Matt (with reference to your first paragraph). Maybe that's because home is where the heart is and Brian's heart is already with Matt. :)
