Exams are over, and I finally got my mom to watch My So-Called Life with me. She's resisted for years. But now she's seen the pilot, and I know that she is charmed. Mwahaha

Normally I hate voice overs on shows and feel like they ruin scenes, but on MSCL it MADE the show for me. The voice over sounds so authentic. You're hearing Angela's true inner voice.

I always think of MSCL when I'm writing character POV narration.

*TEAR* AW MAN I MISS THIS SHOW. As soon as the semester is done I will have to REWATCH IT. I love the Christmas episode but oh my god, it kills me. Sad. They had a recent issue of Entertainment Weekly about "Gay Teens on TV" and they interviewed Rickie Vasquez and my heart exploded from joy.
