There's 2 things that could've happened:

1) You put in double flare jewlery which cut the lining of your fresh stretch. This happened to me when I went to 7/16", I put in a DF steel flesh tunnel, and the lip caught and there was a bit of blood.

Try using SF or NF next time and gradually work the piercing until it's more loose, then you'll be able to wear DF.

2) Your lobe was irritated and/or cold. Before you stretch, take a hot shower or wear headphones for awhile. Anything that'll make your lobes nice and hot. When that happens, there's increased blood flow, and your lovlies are more inclined to stretch.

Always remember to use some sort of lube (like extra virgin oilve oil or vit. e oil).

mmmm hm.

Hot shower and lube - check. The jewellery wasn't double flared but it did have grooves for the o-rings, I guess they could have done it?

Thanks for replying :)

I've heard about it but I don't know much about it. I don't quite get how it works, won't it just make the ends quite chunky and more likely to mean you dead stretch? Or because it's so gradual does it not matter?
